| Altar Cloths |
Handmade to your individual requirements. Altar cloths are available in an easy to care for cotton mix, or luxurious cotton vclvet. Fringes and tassels may be added, or ribbon embroidered pentagrams. Simple trimmings are also available. Velvet altar cloths come with a cotton mix over cloth, tailored to fit your own altar top, and protect the velvet from soiling and wax. |
The standard altar cloth size is 100cm2. Larger cloths are available on request. As are smaller ones, suitable for use as tarot cloths. Velvet cloths can be backed with a liner, for a smarter finish and more protection for the velvet itself and your altar top (as seen in the navy cloth opposite). Cotton mix cloths (including the overcloths for velvet cloths) are machine washable, wax can be removed by ironing between two sheets of brown paper. Cotton mix cloths are available in a variety of shades; velvet cloths are usually available in black, navy, red, green and purple. |
